Since the coupon value is greater than the purchase, the cashier will need to adjust the coupon down to $1.99 per Walgreen's coupon policy.
Print a copy of the Walgreen's Corporate Coupon Policy to keep with your coupons.
I haven't checked the price of these pens at Wal-Mart and Target, but you can always take the Walgreen's ad to Wal-Mart for a competitor price match and get the pens FREE there also!
